This spacious and welcoming family house is situated on a quiet residential street in Swanage, ten minutes level walk from the beach and town centre.
With accommodation over three floors and two lounges there is plenty of space for everyone. The bathroom and en-suite room both benefit from good quality fittings and modern decoration. The property is well equipped for children, with board games and even a table tennis table in the garage.
Outside is an enclosed paved rear garden with garden furniture; an ideal spot for those family BBQs. The property boasts a generous open plan kitchen and dining area, making it an ideal place to relax and eat in the evening after a busy day at the beach!

The area was enhanced by the sun that stayed out all bank holiday weekend. Several excellent beaches and places to explore nearby. Plenty to keep all the different generations happy! The property was absolutely fab. It had so many amenities that we didn't expect but were very grateful for. Lovely property and lovely part of the world. Thoroughly recommend.
We have just had a fabulous week in Swanage staying at The Retreat. The property had everything we needed for a family holiday with teenagers including a lovely garden with furniture and BBQ. The garage was a real bonus for storing bikes and playing table tennis! Two good bathrooms and a downstairs loo. Location-wise the property is an easy flat walk to town and you can stop off at the Swanage steam railway engine sheds to watch the engines being steamed up for the day on your walk into town to get the papers and breakfast.
As a family we have a great time and would recomend this property and the area
