Reviews

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Samphire. We have thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very clean and tidy when we arrived and there was everything we could have needed. It is a great location as we could walk to the beach and surrounding shops and restaurants. e would recommend Bliss and Castaways for food, it was delicious and a short walk from the town. We would definitely recommend staying here as it has been wonderful, we have had loads of fun.

D and B,

Enjoyable stay in comfortable surroundings. We found the property to be clean, well equipped and airy. The house was in good location for walking into the town. The house has provided everything we would have needed and we would certainly stay here again

R family,

Lovely house, great location for amenities and beaches. Tastefully decorated very much to our taste- we now have got yet more ideas for shopping! Far too many places to visit in a week so we must come again!

Previous Customer,

A lovely house, inside and out. We've really enjoyed our holiday, and the garden was much appreciated, especially as the weather has been so sunny. You seem to have thought of everything, the house was so well equipped. And the furnishings and the decor are among the best we've seen in over 14 years of holidaying in self catering establishments. The cleaner was very helpful and friendly and it seems churlish to mention the the front door locks, but we mastered them after a few days and they caused no problems after that. Swanage is our favourite holiday destination, we've been coming here since 2006, and hopefully we'll return next year. Thank you very much.

Mrs B,

Thank you! We've had the most amazing week and will definitely return to Dorset. Our little boy absolutely loved the steam trains, boats and open-top buses! Studland beach is stunning and we could have easily spent everyday there! The ferry across to Sandbanks and boat to Brownsea Island were great too. We would also recommend a pastry from the Cornish bakery too - yummy veggie options as well! The house is a brilliant base for walking to the town & seafront. We felt very comfortable and had everything that we needed - thank you! (oh and the toys are an added bonus!)

Mr T,

What an incredible break. What is there not to love about Swanage. We visited for the Fish Festival and we had the most fantastic day. We had a superb supper at Shell Bay and wood-oven pizzas at The Pig on the Beach, which is a 5 minute drive. The house is beautiful, the interior decor is outstanding. We had an amazing nights sleep, very quiet and comfortable. The children loved playing out in the courtyard and we enjoyed breakfasts out their also. With the house being in such a fantastic location, we were able to enjoy so much & with such ease. The beaches are beautiful, restaurants, cafes, shops - all fantastic. We have truly fallen in love with Swanage and will most certainly be back. A must is The Cabin cafe down on the beach, Gee Whites on the front, Love Cake and fish & chips on the pier! Thank you for the best break ever!!

Previous Customer,

We've enjoyed our stay - it is a lovely, comfortable house. Very well equipped - we liked the BBQ and garden. We found the front door a little tricky to open but got the knack. Loved Swanage and all the lovely walks nearby - Studland beach was a highlight. We hope to return in the future.

Mrs C,

Thank you. What a lovely holiday home. We stayed in Samphire during the Easter School holidays with our 3 young children and it felt like a home from home. The standard of finish within the property helps it to feel special and luxurious and we would certainly consider returning. The location of the house really completed the holiday as we could easily walk to the seafront, especially the arcades which was a favourite of the children. We also very much enjoyed Durlston, Lulworth and Studland beach. Sealife in Weymounth is a great day out with the little ones.

Mrs V,

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We have thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Swanage and after a long walk exploring it was a pleasure to come back to such a warm and comfortable home. We hope to stay again one day - thank you.

Mr K,

We visited Swanage for a long weekend, from the 8th March to 11th March, and without question stayed in the best rental in the area (and I spent weeks searching)! The house far exceeded our expectations, and the pictures really don’t do it justice! It really is like a home from home. It is decorated to a very high standard, all the rooms are large and the beds are super comfortable with plenty of wardrobes and storage space. The house has retained lots of its original features which we loved, and the attention to detail is exceptional. We were there on Mother’s Day and took full advantage of the well equipped kitchen,.we cooked a huge Sunday lunch for 4 adults and 2 children, the kitchen had everything we needed and the dinning room was perfect, not just for dinner, but for all the board games that are provided which the young girls took full advantage of using. The location is ideal, only a 2min walk from the main supermarket, and 5 mins to the beach, but on a quiet residential road, so totally peaceful. We took a lot of the recommendations from the owner on eating out and places for the boys to watch football, all were fantastic, we cannot thank them enough Definitely looking to book for the summer months when we can enjoy the garden
